Exciting news for Chicago Bulls fans! Although there have been rumors about a potential trade involving Zach LaVine, it seems that there isn’t much happening in the market for him.
According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, there is “no Zach LaVine trade sweepstakes” happening in the NBA as of now.
LaVine has been sidelined with a foot injury since Nov. 28 but is expected to return in a few weeks. Before his injury, he was averaging 21 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.
The Bulls currently have a record of 13-17 and are in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. With LaVine’s return on the horizon, Chicago is hopeful that they can make a significant improvement, although they may still fall short of being title contenders.
The NBA Trade Deadline is Feb. 8, which means the Bulls will need to make a firm decision about LaVine’s future with the team by that point.
