The NFL’s three-game Christmas slate ended with a statement from the Baltimore Ravens.
In a face-off against the NFL’s consensus top team, the San Francisco Giants, the Ravens ripped the title right out of their opponent’s hands with a 33-19 steamrolling victory. Lamar Jackson once again led the offense, but the star of the night was a Ravens defense that secured five interceptions, with four of them coming from MVP candidate Brock Purdy.
With this win, the Ravens now hold the NFL’s best record at 12-3, while the Niners fall to 11-4. Next week, the Ravens have the opportunity to clinch a playoff bye while facing the Miami Dolphins, and the Niners have work to do to secure the same.
