Google will pay a hefty $700 million after reaching a settlement with various U.S. states which filed a lawsuit against the company, alleging that it created anti-competitive conditions within its Play Store.

The lawsuit, filed in July and settled in September, involved 36 states and districts. Among these were New York, California, Utah, and Tennessee.
