The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is on a mission to protect the public from harm when using all kinds of consumer products. Each year, product-related incidents cost the nation over $1 trillion in damages, injuries, and even death. Thanks to the CPSC’s efforts, the rate of injuries related to consumer products has decreased over the past 50 years.
It’s important to note that federal law prohibits the sale of products that have been recalled by the Commission or in cooperation with the CPSC.
