‘Cause of Death: Obesity Complications,’ ‘Extreme Weight Loss’ Star Brandi Mallory – 12/5/2023 3:42 PM PT
Brandi Mallory’s autopsy report revealed that her death was caused by problems stemming from obesity.
TMZ obtained the report from the Fulton County Medical Examiner, which mentioned the “Extreme Weight Loss” star’s weight, a larger heart, and some elevated blood markers suggestive of prediabetes as contributing factors to her overall health.
The records indicated that there was no evidence of an acute injury, and there were no signs of foul play either. The report stated that there were trace amounts of cannabis and alcohol in Mallory’s system, but the coroner ruled that neither contributed to her death.
According to the autopsy, “It is my view that Brandi E. Mallory died of complications of obesity was considered a significant condition contributing to the death.” Her death was also categorized as natural.
TMZ reported the news that Mallory was found dead in an Atlanta mall parking lot after being observed entering her car the previous night. A concerned witness called 911 and reported that he suspected there was a body in the car, as it had not been moved for a significant amount of time.

Mallory appeared on Season 4 of the ABC series back in 2014 and had been involved with the show as recently as 2018.
She was only 40 years old at the time of her passing.
