All eyes will be on Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday as 2 of the NFC’s leading Super Bowl competitors will want to prove themselves as the class of the conference.

The Philadelphia Eagles host the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of last year’s NFC title game. This time around, the Niners won’t have to lean on their fourth-string quarterback.

Whoever triumphs will likely establish themselves as the Super Bowl favorite in the eyes of oddsmakers.

There won’t be the same kind of massive showdown among the AFC’s elite. The Baltimore Ravens are off. The Miami Dolphins take on the Washington Commanders. And the Kansas City Chiefs get the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football

The Denver Broncos’ trip to The Lone Star State to play the Houston Texans might provide some intrigue with both scrambling for wild-card position. An emphatic victory for either could substantially change how their postseason qualifications are considered.

The Dallas Cowboys have given years’ worth of evidence to question whether they can go all the way. In the seasons when they weren’t bad to average, they raised their fans’ expectations only to falter in the postseason.

In its two biggest tests of 2023 so far, Dallas couldn’t get the job done against San Francisco or Philadelphia.

And yet, a performance like the one the Cowboys delivered Thursday against the Seattle Seahawks can’t help but make you wonder whether this is the year it all comes together. Dak Prescott threw for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns, while Dallas picked up 136 yards combined on the ground.
