After claims started circulating on X, Toni took to Instagram to set the record straight.
She denied allegations that she had wed the music mogul and confirmed that both she and Birdman are single.
She even shared a post from The Shade Room with the headline, “Congratulations! Toni Braxton & Birdman Married In A Private Ceremony In Mexico,” adding the hashtag #FakeNews to make her point.
Toni’s sister, Tamar, also chimed in and defended her, calling the rumors “wild.”
Before Toni addressed the speculation, Tamar revealed she had no idea about the supposed wedding and even had to call their mother, Evelyn, to clarify the news.
Toni and Birdman have quite the history, dating back to 2016 when they started a romantic relationship.
In a 2017 announcement, Toni confirmed their engagement, solidifying their love story.
