Simone Biles is fighting back after a recent picture on her social media got fans wondering if she was pregnant.
The Olympic gold medalist shared a photo of herself supporting her hubby, Jonathan Owens, this past Monday as she watched the Green Bay Packers face off against the New York Giants at the MetLife Stadium.
The 26-year-old was clad in a pair of burgundy leggings paired with a matching sweater, and an oversized camouflage jacket and black beanie.
While the clothing may have just been about comfort and coziness for the event, her comments were flooded with people asking if she was expecting.
“I see that belly,” one person wrote while another added, “Picture is sending baby vibes.”
With the 2024 Paris Olympics right around the corner, a pregnancy announcement could have affected Biles’ future plans to represent her country and compete in the games.
If she makes the cut, it will be her first significant return after withdrawing from five event finals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics to prioritize her mental health, according to Spectrum News NY1.
The announcement that followed her exit was that she also wouldn’t be competing in the individual all-around final.
“Whenever you get in a high-stress situation, you kind of freak out,” Biles said, per CNN. “I have to focus on my mental health and not jeopardize my health and well-being.”
Back in April, Biles got married to Jonathan Owens, which she later announced on her Instagram page.
“I do 🤍 officially owens 🤍,” she wrote. Biles included a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos from their special day, including one of the couple holding hands and smiling from ear to ear after exchanging their vows.
Biles and Owens went on to have their wedding ceremony with 140 guests in tow at a private property in Cabo San Lucas the following month.
The pair first crossed paths back in 2019, but it wasn’t until 2020 when they matched on the celebrity dating app Raya at the start of the pandemic.
