Exciting news for baseball fans! The Los Angeles Dodgers have been making some huge signings recently, and the latest rumors suggest they aren’t finished yet. They’re eyeing Josh Hader, one of the best relievers on the market.
“Our own Tom Verducci has talked about the Dodgers as not being done yet. They still may make a move for Josh Hader,” MLB Network’s Jon Morosi reported on Tuesday.

Josch Hader, a five-time All-Star, had a fantastic 2023 season with the San Diego Padres. He finished with 33 saves, a 1.28 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP and 85 strikeouts in 56.1 innings of work.
With three NL Reliever of the Year awards under his belt, Hader is a reliable anchor at the back end of any bullpen. He’s consistently performed at a high level throughout his career.
The Dodgers aren’t the only team interested in Hader, though. Morosi also mentioned the Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Angels, and New York Yankees as contenders for Hader, along with other top free-agent relievers Robert Stephenson and Jordan Hicks.
If the Dodgers do manage to sign Hader, it would be yet another major addition in an already impressive offseason. With recent signings like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, adding Hader would only strengthen their already formidable lineup.
