Paddy Pimblett is ready to shed some blood in the cage this weekend and he’s not afraid of it!
Returning for the first time in a year, Pimblett is set to take on Octagon veteran Tony Ferguson at UFC 296 in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Ferguson, coming off of a six-fight losing streak, suggests that he lost focus after a 12-fight win streak. Pimblett is unfazed, willing to go toe-to-toe with Ferguson’s slicing elbows – and he isn’t backing down.
At the UFC 296 press conference, Pimblett had some choice words for Ferguson. “Cut me open like you said you’re going to do, because I’ll be ground and pounding your unconscious skull, you f*cking little bum,” he said, addressing Ferguson. He didn’t hold back, adding that he can’t believe Ferguson actually had a suit on, and that he looks like a “f*ckng idiot.”
Let’s see if Ferguson can bring out the same tactics when he faces off against Pimblett this Saturday night. It’s bound to be an intense battle in the Octagon!
