Pat Sabatini is on fire, repeatedly taking down his fellow UFC fighters on the grappling mat.
Despite his recent loss in the octagon, Sabatini is kicking off 2024 on a high note with a jaw-dropping submission at Cage Fury FC’s Fury Pro Grappling 8 event in Philadelphia last Saturday.
Just over three minutes into the match, Sabatini seized the opportunity and executed a brutal Suloev stretch on UFC welterweight Niko Price, leaving the crowd in awe.
Witness the intense submission finish below.
Sabatini’s perfect hold left his opponent in excruciating pain, with the inside of Sabatini’s right knee almost touching his shoulder. Talk about a painful move!
This year-end grappling event has become a lucky tradition for Sabatini, who also tapped out UFC fighter Alex Caceres at Fury Grappling Pro 6 on the same date last year.
In the world of MMA, Sabatini had a mixed 2023, with a submission victory over Lucas Almeida before a knockout loss to Diego Lopes at UFC 295.
