Tragedy struck the North Dakota community on Wednesday when Ian Cramer, the son of North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer, was involved in a police chase that resulted in the death of a deputy, according to a statement released by Senator Cramer and the N.D. Highway Patrol.
In a heartfelt statement on his website, Senator Cramer revealed the heartbreaking circumstances surrounding his son’s actions, citing Ian’s struggle with mental health issues and his desire to visit his late brother.
