The Rams have had a number of talented quarterbacks, but none have achieved what current starter Matthew Stafford has just accomplished.
As noted during the Amazon Prime broadcast, Stafford has now thrown two or more touchdown passes without any interceptions for four consecutive games, a first for any Rams quarterback.
In addition, Stafford racked up 328 passing yards against the Saints, marking his highest output since the Week 1 win in Seattle.
The 30-22 victory, which was a comfortable lead until the Saints scored late touchdowns, secured the Rams’ fifth win in six games and significantly boosted their chances of making the playoffs, while also adding pressure to the New Orleans Saints.
If the Rams do qualify, they will pose a significant threat, potentially being the only NFC team with the ability to upset San Francisco. Stafford’s recent performance – efficient, decisive, and healthy – will be key to their success.
