Massive Recall Issued for TGI Fridays Chicken Bites Due to Consumer Complaints

Breaking News! 26,550 pounds of TGI Fridays boneless chicken bites products are being recalled due to potential contamination with plastic pieces, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Consumers are urged not to eat these products, which may be in their freezers, and to dispose of them or return them to the store of purchase.

The establishment number “P-20287” is printed inside the USDA mark of inspection on the recalled products, which were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

The contamination was discovered after the firm received consumer complaints about finding clear, hard plastic in the boneless chicken bites.

No injuries or illnesses have been reported, but anyone with concerns should contact a healthcare provider.

The affected boneless chicken bite items were produced on Oct. 3.

One recalled product is a 15-oz carton of “TGI FRIDAYS BONELESS CHICKEN BITES HONEY BBQ CHICKEN” with lot code KL3K03 and Best By date of 12/26/2024. More information about the recalled products can be found here.
