The moment fans have been eagerly awaiting is finally here – Luis Suárez has officially signed with Inter Miami for the 2024 season, reuniting with his former teammate Lionel Messi.
Throughout their six seasons together at Barcelona, Suárez and Messi achieved incredible success, winning four Spanish league titles and a total of nine other trophies, including a Champions League title. After a standout season as the best player and best striker in the Brazilian league with Gremio, Suárez is ready to embark on this new chapter.
“I’m thrilled to take on this new challenge with Inter Miami,” Suárez expressed. “I can’t wait to get started and work towards winning more titles with this amazing club. Our shared ambition gives me great optimism for what we can accomplish together.”
It has been a subject of much speculation, especially considering his close relationship with Messi, but now Suárez has joined the roster at Inter Miami, ready to contribute to their success.
“I am eager to bring joy to the passionate fans while wearing Inter Miami colors and reuniting with great friends and players,” Suárez said. “I’m also looking forward to meeting my new teammates and coaches.”
