Fame comes with a price, and for Cardi B and her ex-beau Offset, it’s looking particularly steep at the moment. The couple is reportedly being sued by the owner of their Beverly Hills holiday home for unpaid bills and serious property damage, which they allegedly left behind.
According to TMZ, it’s more than just a case of not paying rent. The lawsuit claims that the lavish mansion was left in a terrible state, with burnt furniture, holes in the walls, scratched floors, rugs, and a whole host of other damages. The forms even estimated the costs to be around $85,000. That’s one expensive parting gift!
It seems that it hasn’t been the best end to the year for the “Clout” stars, as Cardi recently made it known that her relationship with Offset was done and dusted as they unfollowed each other on Instagram. You know what they say, new year, new beginnings. And for Cardi B, it looks like she’s already taken those words to heart, as she recently stated: “We keep saying every year, ‘New year, new me, new this, new that.’ Bitch, I’m taking that s–t to the f–king heart!” Cheers to growth, Cardi!
