What a unique celebration! After the Wildcats beat the Wolfpack 28-19 in the Pop-Tarts Bowl, fans and players watched as a giant toaster above the midfield logo created sparks and smoke. Then, an edible version of the Pop-Tarts mascot slid out of the toaster, and the Wildcats coach and players enjoyed it as part of their postgame meal. The victory was led by Wildcats quarterback Avery Johnson, who threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score. Running back D.J. Giddens also had a standout performance with 188 yards from scrimmage and two scores on 29 touches. Can’t wait for the upcoming bowl games, including the College Football Playoff semifinals on Monday!
