Japan’s Consumer Inflation Slows Down in November

Exciting News! Japan’s overall consumer prices rose 2.8% from a year earlier in November, according to government data released on Friday. While this increase was slower than the 3.3% uptick in October, it still exceeded the Bank of Japan’s 2% target. Consumer inflation, excluding volatile fresh food and energy, also saw an increase of 3.8% from a year earlier. This is slightly lower than the 4% growth recorded in October.
