Huawei has presented a PaperMatte Edition of the MatePad Air. Built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, the MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition also has an 11.5-inch IPS display that resolves at 2.8K and 144 Hz, among other features.
What makes the MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition unique is the paper-like texture installed over its display. This provides a better writing experience, as it recreates the sensation of pen on paper when using Huawei’s second-generation M-Pencil.
Despite sharing some similarities with the standard edition, such as the Snapdragon 888 and an 8,300 mAh battery, the MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition stands out with its innovative display technology.
If you’re interested in getting your hands on the MatePad Air PaperMatte Edition, it will be available in the Eurozone for €649, including 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage plus a Smart Magnetic Keyboard accessory.
