Great Dane and Keystone Trailer Recalls: What You Need to Know

Check out the latest safety recalls issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) this week:

  • Altec Industries is recalling certain 2021-2023 CB5-132D-S vehicles equipped with a Bobcat 260 welder installed on a track system. This welder may be misaligned, which can lead to loose fasteners and the welder detaching from the vehicle, posing a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says potentially 43 units are affected by the recall.
  • Don’t miss the recall for certain 2024 Champion trailers by Great Dane Trailers. The axle spindle nut may have been improperly tightened, increasing the risk of a wheel detaching from the trailer and causing a crash. NHTSA says potentially 346 units are affected by the recall.
  • Keystone RV Company is recalling certain 2021-2022 Dutchmen Coleman 1855RB and 190BH travel trailers due to axle springs being rated lower than they should be. Overloaded springs can increase the risk of a crash. NHTSA says potentially 366 units are affected by the recall.
  • Pierce Manufacturing’s recall for certain 2019-2023 Arrow XT, Enforcer, and Velocity mid-mount tower trucks equipped with an aerial platform basket is an important one. An electrical connector issue could affect the leveling ability of the platform basket, posing a risk of the basket tipping and causing injury. NHTSA says potentially 314 units are affected by the recall.
  • REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2016-2023 American Coach American Eagle motorhomes due to the potential for the rear air deflector to detach from the vehicle, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says potentially 259 units are affected by the recall.
