The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking for some late-season magic from Mason Rudolph and a little help from other teams to secure an AFC wild-card spot going into Week 17.
Pittsburgh is currently in ninth place, with an 8-7 record, trailing the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans.
To have a chance at the No. 7 seed, the Steelers need both the Colts and Texans to lose over the next two weeks.
Mike Tomlin’s team will also need the teams below them in the standings to lose to give them the best chance to secure a playoff spot in case the Colts or Texans stumble.

The Steelers are counting on the Las Vegas Raiders to continue their late-season success when they face the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday.
If the Raiders win against a playoff team once again, it could put the Steelers in a good position to claim a wild-card spot.

The Steelers will be hoping to see the Tennessee Titans clinch a victory over the Houston Texans, as they need Houston to lose to improve Pittsburgh’s playoff chances.
Tennessee has shown resilience in recent weeks, and a win over Houston would boost the Steelers’ hopes of postseason football.
