Exciting news for Disney+ fans! The home entertainment giant is integrating Hulu into its streaming platform, aligning with the trend of streaming services bundling together to attract more customers.
But that’s not all. Disney+ subscribers will also have access to Hulu as part of this effort, with the full launch of the bundled package scheduled for March 2024.
This bundled service aims to enhance the integration of the two platforms, as Disney recently acquired the remaining one-third stake in Hulu that was initially owned by Comcast’s NBCUniversal.
While the integration will initially be limited to those who have signed up for this package, Disney hopes to offer its customers more value for their money, as explained by Joe Earley, President of Direct-to-Customer for Disney.
Disney+ and Hulu will also provide their customers with a diverse range of content, catering to both family-oriented and adult-oriented audiences, with the ability for parents to adjust adult controls before the full release of the offering in March.
In a bid to combat declining customer numbers and revenues, more streaming platforms are entering the market with bundled packages, offering consumers access to more content at potentially lower subscription costs.
With the announcement of this Disney and Hulu integration, the streaming landscape continues to evolve, providing customers with more options and value for their entertainment needs.
