A shocking incident has recently occurred in Florida, where a man has been charged with animal torment and torture. The suspect, 27-year-old Clay Neil Kinney, allegedly recorded a video of himself using his vehicle to intentionally hit a deer and then shared the disturbing footage on TikTok.
According to authorities, Kinney is facing one felony count of animal torture, five misdemeanor counts of animal torment, and one misdemeanor count of driving with a suspended or revoked license. The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office reported that the video clip, shared on TikTok, showed Kinney attempting to run over multiple deer before hitting one.
While the condition of the deer involved is unknown, the arrest was made on December 28 after an investigation into the viral TikTok video. Kinney was questioned by a detective and admitted to intentionally running over the deer and driving without a valid license.
The arrest report alleges that the video, later removed from TikTok, shows Kinney attempting to run over five deer in total but only being able to hit one. He has been charged with cruelty to animals and tormenting deer by using his vehicle to chase and run them over. This heinous act has sparked outrage and concern for the well-being of animals.
