Polygon Labs Updates for 2023

In his post, the cofounder revealed three important dates for upcoming community events. This includes the highly-anticipated Polygon Connect event on December 7th in India. Also, don’t miss the public demo of Polygon’s next generation ZK product on December 14th. Nailwal believes that this will have a major impact on the entire Ethereum ecosystem. Additionally, Polygon has some new products in the pipeline that will enhance real-world asset and institutional adoption, set to be announced on December 20th.

The Polygon community is eagerly awaiting these updates, especially the Connect event in India. It promises to be a great opportunity for community members to connect, network, and collaborate with industry peers, potentially opening up new opportunities within the sector. The upcoming ZK product can be expected to showcase the team’s dedication and commitment to enhancing zero-knowledge proof technology. Improving RWA and institutional adoption demonstrates Polygon’s efforts to serve a diverse user base across various industries, including individuals and businesses.

Last week, the official Polygon X account shared details of a zkEVM mainnet beta update. The update includes significant changes to the zkEVM node, bridge, and prover infrastructure, as well as various other improvements and fixes.

Polygon So Far This Year

This year has been a successful one for Polygon Labs, with several significant partnerships and collaborations. Just last week, Polygon Labs announced that the popular tourist destination, Lugano in Switzerland, has integrated Polygon with its MyLugano payment platform.

Originally developed with Tether, the addition of Polygon’s PoS chain allows the 30,000 app users to access decentralized applications (dApps) on the network for seamless payments. Beyond enhancing payments, Polygon is also assisting Lugano in launching a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Additionally, in a strategic partnership with Polygon Labs and Amazon Web Services (AWS), Hong Kong-based game software giant and venture capital company Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd recently announced the MoonRealm Express Accelerator.
