Brand new character posters have been revealed for Dune: Part 2, giving us a fantastic look at the new and returning faces of the upcoming sequel set to arrive in theaters on March 1, 2024.
You can view all the posters below, featuring close-up shots of Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides, Zendaya’s Chani, Rebecca Ferguson’s Lady Jessica, Josh Brolin’s Gurney Halleck, and more.
“Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he joins with Chani and the Fremen while on a course of vengeance against the conspirators who destroyed his family,” the official description of the movie reads. “Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a tragic future only he can foresee.”
Dune: Part 2 was originally set to be released in theaters on November 3, 2023, but was pushed back amid the then-ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes.
The original film was released during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and made its delayed debut in North America in both theaters and on HBO Max on October 21, 2021.
In our Dune review, we stated it is a “stunning but imperfect epic, a technical marvel that spends too much time setting up a third act that never comes.”
