Exciting news for NFL fans as veteran quarterback Jeff Driskel has found his next home in Cleveland.
The Browns have made a move to sign Driskel to their active roster from the Cardinals’ practice squad.
With only Joe Flacco as the starting quarterback and PJ Walker as the backup, the Browns were in need of some depth at the position. This is where Driskel comes in.
As the regular season finale approaches, there’s a chance we could see Driskel in action for the Browns. If the Ravens beat the Dolphins on Sunday, the Browns will be out of AFC North contention and may choose to rest their top players. In this scenario, Driskel could be the active quarterback for the Browns’ final game against the Bengals.
Driskel brings experience, having started 10 games in his NFL career, including five for the Bengals in 2018. Despite his teams being 1-9 in games he started, his addition brings depth and support to the Browns’ quarterback lineup.
