Forget space travel, social media, and luxury cars. Elon Musk’s real passion lies with gaming, and recently only one game has been on his mind, Diablo 4.
Musk hasn’t stopped talking about the game since its launch, using it to test Twitter’s livestream capabilities. But now, he’s fixated on class balance, particularly the Druid, which he believes is underpowered. It seems like Musk just won’t stop with the complaints.
And his complaints are numerous, with most Diablo Twitter posts getting a fair share of his passionate criticism. It’s hard to ignore at this point, considering Musk’s influence.
Druid buffs are the main source of Musk’s frustration, and he clearly hasn’t been shy in expressing it:
- “If you’re super fast and make no mistakes with a rogue, there is potential, given its agility, but Druid seems to be solidly bottom of the meta for now.”
- “It’s a fun challenge, but some tweaks would be great. Would be nice to buff Druid a little. Seems to be the weakest character by far.”
- “I will muddle along with my sub S Tier Druid (sigh)”
- “Character balance sucks. You might as well rename the game from Diablo to Barbarian…”
Elon Musk’s obsession with Diablo 4 has caused quite a stir. Despite offering free advertising, his controversial figure doesn’t sit well with everyone.

Class balance seems to be the root of the problem, something that many players, including Musk, have taken issue with. Even with the controversy, Musk remains a vocal advocate for the game.
Still, there are players like Moxsy whose Druid builds have managed to show impressive damage. It seems like there’s more to be discovered in the game, perhaps beyond Musk’s gripes.
It’s unclear whether Elon Musk plans to move on from his Diablo 4 complaints, especially considering his persistent interest in the game. Perhaps his persistence will lead to changes in the game, particularly for Druid buffs.
