As 2023 looms on the horizon, Hollywood might be brewing up a surprise final power pair: Drake and Camila Cabello.
On December 13, Pop Crave, a celebrity news source, set off a flurry of dating speculation by sharing video footage of the 37-year-old “IDGAF” rapper hanging out with the 26-year-old “Señorita” singer at Noah’s Ark Beach Club in Turks and Caicos, as well as a photo of them riding jet skis together. More pictures and videos were subsequently shared on other accounts.
One fan even tweeted, “Camila Cabello and Drake hanging out on a random Wednesday in the Bahamas was NOT on my bingo card of ‘23.” Although Turks and Caicos is not in the Bahamas, we totally get what they’re saying.
Meanwhile, Drake shared a series of photos from a day of golfing with friends at the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club, writing, “I’m trash at this sport but the drinks are hitting.” As for Cabello, she hasn’t posted anything grid-worthy on her Instagram since November 21.
The big question remains: What’s really happening between Drake and Cabello (Dramilla? Drabello?)? While some fans think they might be an item, others are convinced they’re working on a music collaboration. “Camila is trying to get the Drake feature let her cook,” one social media user wrote on X.
It could honestly go either way. According to The Daily Mail, Drake reportedly followed Cabello on Instagram after she used his “Search & Rescue” lyrics as an Instagram caption, although she mistakenly attributed the quote to playwright William Shakespeare.
“’Take me out the club. Take me out the Trap. Take me off the market. Take me off the map’,” she captioned a mirror selfie. “’I’m trying to hit the group chat and tell them it’s a wrap.’—Shakespeare.” If this indeed marks the start of a new Hollywood romance, it would be quite the story!
