Valve has announced the best Steam games of 2023, featuring titles from several categories such as New Releases, Top Sellers, Most Played, Steam Deck, Early Access, VR, and Controller. The list features the top-selling games, as well as the most-played titles that have crossed the concurrent player count of 40 thousand, including popular games like Apex Legends and Counter-Strike 2.
The New Releases category showcases titles that have earned the most revenue within the first two weeks of launch, while the Early Access category features games that earned the highest gross revenue before and after launching the stable version this year.
Steam Deck games on the list include titles that are most played on the gaming handheld device, and the Controller category showcases the most played games using a gamepad.
