Derek Carr’s debut season in New Orleans has been filled with frustrating moments alongside his Saints teammates. And this past Sunday’s showdown with the Carolina Panthers was no different.
With the Saints desperate for a victory against the struggling Panthers to stay in the NFC South race, a sack on third down in the second half led to the Saints’ fourth consecutive unsuccessful possession. It’s fair to say that center Erik McCoy was not happy with Carr’s handling of that play. McCoy made sure the quarterback knew it as the Saints offense came back to the sideline.

The confrontation didn’t escalate, however, and the two players were eventually spotted sitting next to each other on the bench.

There’s just been too much of that with Carr this season.
