Fresh on the music scene is the debut album, Loveshine, released by the talented queer singer-songwriter, Erene Mastrangeli, through Angels Music Records.
Inspired by the tragic Pulse nightclub mass shooting in Orlando, Florida, Mastrangeli penned the title track, “Love, Shine,” driven by her profound emotions.
In her own words, Mastrangeli shared, “Each song on the album presents love as a solution to every issue, whether it is self-love and self-compassion, love and compassion towards another person, or universal love. Love is always the answer!”
Hailing from Italy, Mastrangeli earned the nickname “the Italian Joni Mitchell” and developed her songwriting skills alongside top jazz musicians. Later relocating to New York City, her sound evolved, influenced by American and Italian styles, performing at various prestigious venues.
Produced by Daniele Sinigallia, Loveshine showcases Mastrangeli’s stunning vocals and varied musical influences, making it one of the best albums of the year.
