Welcome to the U.S. CPSC
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is on a mission to protect the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death associated with the use of a wide range of consumer products. Each year, deaths, injuries, and property damage from incidents related to consumer products cost the nation over $1 trillion. The CPSC’s efforts to ensure the safety of consumer products have contributed to a decrease in the rate of injuries associated with consumer products over the past 50 years.
It is important to note that federal law prohibits anyone from selling products subject to a Commission ordered recall or a voluntary recall conducted in coordination with the CPSC.
