Exciting news awaits as Baker Hughes has sealed a massive twenty-year framework agreement with Chevron Australia. This deal will lead to the supply of top-notch subsea production systems.

Under this agreement, Baker Hughes is set to provide its game-changing Aptara subsea production systems for Chevron Australia’s upcoming offshore projects.

According to the company’s reports, the Aptara suite offers a broad array of advanced subsea equipment, including items like subsea trees, wellheads, and control systems. It’s designed to be adaptable, lightweight, and compact, providing the industry with TOTEX-lite subsea systems that meet the continually evolving demands of the sector.

One of the key highlights of this partnership is the company’s commitment to consolidating regional deliveries of its 7” Aptara subsea production systems. Additionally, the agreement is expected to heavily emphasize Australian Industry Participation, which will allow local industries and resources to play a pivotal role in the development of crucial natural gas supplies for Australia and the region.

Speaking about the agreement, David Dillon, the Senior Vice President of Subsea & Surface Pressure Systems, Oilfield Services and Equipment at Baker Hughes, said, “Baker Hughes brings global expertise and a proven record in delivering key projects throughout the Asia Pacific region. This new framework agreement reflects our continued commitment to deliver valuable solutions to our customers and help navigate the evolving energy landscape in the most productive and efficient manner.”

If this news wasn’t exciting enough, Baker Hughes has also secured two contracts with Norwegian oil and gas company Vår Energi. These contracts are expected to further strengthen the company’s North Sea presence for exploration logging, well intervention technology, and subsea production systems.
