Rock legend Alex Lifeson has just unveiled his LERXST Signature Amp Series in partnership with Mojotone and now the collaboration has led to the creation of a brand new signature overdrive and boost pedal: the LERXST By-Tor!
This pedal is an exciting new release as it is exclusively available through Reverb. What is the LERXST By-Tor, you ask? It’s a two-in-one drive and boost pedal designed to capture the essence of the newly revamped LERXST Omega head without the expensive and heavy tube circuitry.
The pedal is appropriately named after Rush’s song ‘By-Tor and the Snow Dog’ and promises to deliver the same power and growl that the LERXST Omega head is known for. With an easy-to-use control range, the LERXST By-Tor gives you all the tone, gain, and level control you need to dial in your perfect sound.
The LERXST By-Tor offers the same tonal touchstones as the Omega amp, delivering British-style tones in a pedal format.
Featuring a Boost First/Drive First toggle switch, you have control over the order of the signal chain, allowing for more saturation or traditional boost functionality for solo sections. Plus, the tonal range of the LERXST By-Tor goes from light and crispy to overdriven chaos, offering guitarists a wide range of tonal options.
At $295, the LERXST By-Tor offers an affordable way to capture Alex Lifeson’s sought-after sound without breaking the bank. It’s made in the USA and delivers the iconic Lifeson tone at a fraction of the cost, putting it on par with other top-tier amp-in-a-box pedals.
With more products on the horizon, it’s clear that the LERXST series is just getting started. Who knows what they’ll come up with next?
