Welcome Back Alex Jones! Elon Musk Reinstates Alex Jones on X

Alex Jones has finally been reinstated back on X (previously Twitter) after Elon Musk decided to leave it to a vote among users to determine whether he should return to the platform. After a vote was tallied, the people have spoken and Alex is back.

Controversial conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has regained control of his account on X after years of being banned. This marks a major win for Jones as tech companies had mass-banned him in 2018, Twitter being the last to do so. At the time, he was facing defamation claims from the families of the Sandy Hook victims, which was just one of the many reasons cited by different organizations for banning him.

In a surprising turn of events, Elon Musk posted a poll asking users if Alex Jones should be reinstated on the platform to which the outcome came to a resounding majority of 70% voting in favor of bringing him back. Musk acknowledged the outcome with a tweet, “The people have spoken and so it will be.”

Since his return, Alex Jones has remained relatively quiet. While he hasn’t posted any new original content, he has been retweeting and sharing posts from supporters, including a tweet by Andrew Tate celebrating his return.

Throughout the whole ordeal, Jones has continued to operate his InfoWars website and channel, using it as his platform to share his opinions and thoughts in the absence of traditional social media distribution.
