Speaking on her “Let’s Be Decided” podcast, Doherty made the allegation as she recalled facing her divorce from Iswarienko while dealing with stage four cancer in the beginning of 2023.
But it appears as though her claim has been denied by Iswarienko’s camp, as he and Doherty had been “living separate lives” for two years before her medical procedure.
A source close to Iswarienko told TMZ that he had been honest about starting a new relationship with someone else while he was living in Texas, while Doherty was living in California.
The insider told the outlet that Iswarienko informed the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum about his new relationship in January — just days before she received an MRI scan.
But this claim has been disputed by Doherty, who took to social media Tuesday to slam the “absolute lie.”
“The truth matters,” she added.

Page Six has reached out to Doherty’s reps for further comment.
The insider added that Iswarienko, a photographer, immediately flew back to California to be with Doherty after she found out about her tumor.
But Doherty informed him she didn’t want him there, the insider added.

Earlier this month, Doherty claimed she found out her husband of over a decade was having an affair just before her surgery.
“I went into that surgery early in the morning and I went in after I found out that my marriage was actually over, that my husband had been carrying on an affair for two years,” Doherty alleged.

Although the actress admits Iswarienko “wanted to” be there for her, she ultimately decided that she ”couldn’t go into that surgery with him there.”
“I felt so betrayed,” she said. “At the end of the day, I just felt so incredibly unloved by someone I was with for 14 years, by someone I loved with all my heart.”
