Breakthrough: Chinese Experiments Uncover Near Room Temperature Superconducting Evidence for LK99

South China University of Technology and Central South University have recently confirmed the discovery of a near-room-temperature superconducting component in LK99-type materials through sample testing, marking the first experimental support for LK99-type superconductivity. They also detected a memory effect of low-field microwave absorption in copper-substituted lead apatite, observing significant hysteresis in the samples. The temperature dependence of LFMA intensity showed a phase transition at 250 K, and researchers are planning to further improve sample quality to achieve full levitation and magnetic flux pinning. This groundbreaking discovery has the potential to revolutionize the field of superconductivity and opens up exciting possibilities for future research.
