2 Chainz, the COLLEGROVE artist, recently took to his Instagram account to provide a health update to fans after a terrifying car accident during Miami’s Art Basel weekend. The weekend, filled with excitement for many, took a dark turn for 2 Chainz when he encountered the accident.
One thing led to another, and the rapper, who had just finished his visit to the Booby Trap Strip Club, got into a car crash on I-95, right before exiting. The accident involved a collision between three cars — a Mercedes, Nissan, and Toyota, as per the records from the Florida Highway Patrol.

On Dec. 11, 2 Chainz, known for hits such as “I’m Different”, turned to Instagram to share an update about his condition with his concerned fan base. Here’s what he wrote:
“This the car that hit us from behind…Praise God for the blessings, Things could have been worse, but it wasn’t, don’t wanna pity party, but i do appreciate every single person that checked up on me, sometimes someone in my position don’t feel like the love real or maybe it’s mind thing, but I truly felt the love and don’t worry bout me, I’m good, shake back king”

What Caused This?
The damage once observed indicated that the car in which 2 Chainz, also known as the “Bugatti” rapper, was traveling was severely struck from behind and had a significant impact on the driver’s side at the front.
Investigators suspect that the driver of the other car may have been under the influence when the accident occurred, leading to 2 Chainz to sustain neck and other injuries. Thankfully, he is now in stable condition after being rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.

2 Chainz was also in the news for joining Pepsi’s “Dig In” residency in Las Vegas, a celebratory event highlighting delicious dishes from Black-owned restaurants, including his own. It is aimed at promoting and backing the culinary achievements of these establishments.
